BACKGROUND:
After high school, I attended ICC and then transferred to Bradley University. I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am currently attending Bradley again, to work on my Masters in C and I. SCHOOL:
Charter Oak Primary is a K-4 school. We just recently became an IB World school. We have a high diversity consisting of students a several nationalities, with some of those students new to our country. |
GRADE:
I began my teaching career as an RTI aide at Metamora grade school. I then work for a year as a 2nd grade teacher there. After that, I moved on to District 150 where I have taught middle school math for 2 years and currently in my second year of 2nd grade in the district. COMMUNITY: Peoria is located in the heart of Illinois. District 150 is a large district within the city. There are several educational and fun facilities for Peoria and surrounding residents to attend.
Bicycle Safety Town, Glen Oak Zoo, Peoria Play House, and Peoria Riverfront Museum are just a few places one can attend. |
FAMILY: My family is amazing. My husband and I are lucky to be blessed with two wonderful children. Michael is finishing up a fun year in first grade, while Allie is having a blast in high school as a freshman. We love to have fun, we get loud, we are all very busy, and we love traveling to new places as a family.
